The festive season and creativity go hand in hand for me, so when Bloom & Wild asked me if I would like to design some ideas for creative gift wrapping using their Liberty Collection I was delighted and couldn't wait to get started.
The box itself is gorgeous, so as soon as I opened it I had lots of ideas for using the box to create gift tags and combining the print with brown paper for the wrapping. I also wanted to photograph the flowers to create mini prints to turn into gift tags.
If you are wrapping and giving a gift the same day I think it's a lovely idea to use the fresh flowers to create a little posy gift topper, that your recipient could then pop in a little vase. I also painted some of the leaves with gold paint to create a gift topper that will last a lot longer than the fresh flowers.
I also reused the ribbon from the box too!
I used some metallic and neon washi tapes to attach pieces of the box to the brown parcel paper. I love both the simplicity and creative possibilities of brown paper at Christmas time.
I love giving myself the time to wrap presents in an individual and beautiful way at Christmas. Having four children this isn't always possible for all the gifts but I do love to set aside some gifts to spend an extra bit of time of. I find it so relaxing and calming in a busy season and I know that my friends and family enjoy receiving them.
I hope this has inspired you to get creative with your wrapping. I also think that a box of Bloom & Wild flowers from their Liberty Collection would look so beautiful under the Christmas tree without any wrapping at all! xo
